American born Nigerian Engineer and fashion designer Muktar Onifade draws inspiration from a mechanical engineering background and a passion for fashion and design. A graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology, Muktar has worked for fortune 500 companies such as General Electric, and General Motors. There he was successful in testing and validating up to 10 different vehicle platforms including the 2016 Chevy Volt, Cadillac CTS & ATS to name a few.
Muktar recently won the Merit prize award for fashion design in Shenzhen China. He was featured in 2017 on the NBCBLCK28 2017 list as one of the most innovative young black pioneers in America, as wells recognized on the 2017 Forbes Africa 30 under 30 list.
His spring/summer 18 ready to wear collection was also showcased at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion week in Johannesburg South Africa.
